1. Order Processing

Once you place an order on our website and receive the Order Confirmation Email, please review all details—especially the delivery address—and inform us immediately if corrections are required.

We typically process orders within 5–7 business days from the date of confirmation. As many of our pieces are handcrafted, custom-manufactured, or made on demand under our “zero-inventory, manufacture-on-demand” model, certain designs may require additional time. If so, we will inform you based on the intricacy of the piece.

For urgent requirements, please contact us. Rush processing may be arranged at an additional charge.


2. Shipping Options & Costs

Domestic (India)

We offer standard shipping across India. Many orders qualify for free shipping. In specific cases—such as high-value insured parcels or remote locations—a standard shipping fee may apply. This will be clearly displayed at checkout or prior to final confirmation.

International

We ship worldwide. International shipping charges are calculated at checkout, based on destination, package weight, order value, shipping method, and insurance requirements.

Please note: Customs duties, taxes, and import fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the customer and are determined by the destination country.


3. Delivery Timelines

Once your order is processed, delivery timelines will vary based on your location and the shipping method chosen.

  • Domestic (India): 3–7 business days after dispatch

  • International: Timelines vary by country and will be displayed at checkout

Please note: Delivery times are estimations. Delays may occur due to courier disruptions, customs clearance, weather, festivals, or local operational issues outside our control.


4. Tracking Your Order

After dispatch, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation Email containing your tracking number and link. You may use this link to track your parcel in real-time until it reaches you.

If you do not receive the confirmation within 48 hours of expected dispatch, please contact us.


5. Shipping Address Accuracy

Please ensure the address entered at checkout is accurate, complete, and correctly formatted (including PIN code/ZIP, state, phone number, and any helpful landmark).

Jhevar is not responsible for delays or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer.

If the courier is unable to deliver and returns the parcel to us, or if redelivery attempts are needed, additional charges may apply.


6. Signature on Delivery & Precautions

Due to the high value of jewellery, all shipments—domestic and international—require a signature on delivery or equivalent secure proof of receipt.

We strongly recommend recording an unboxing video at the time of opening your parcel.

If your tracking shows the parcel as delivered but you have not received it, please notify us within 48 hours. We will coordinate with the courier service on your behalf.


7. Customs, Import Duties & Taxes (International Orders)

International customers are solely responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or any charges applied by their country’s customs authority.

Jhevar is unable to predict these costs. We recommend checking with your local customs office prior to placing your order.


8. Order Modifications & Cancellations

If you need to modify your shipping address or upgrade the shipping method after placing your order, please contact us immediately. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, changes cannot be guaranteed if the order has already been processed or dispatched.

If you choose to cancel your order before shipment, shipping charges already incurred (if any) may be deducted from your refund as per our Refund Policy.


9. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Shipments

If your parcel is lost, stolen after delivery (as per courier record), or arrives damaged, please contact us right away. Provide the following for quicker resolution:

  • Order number

  • Tracking number

  • Photos (for damaged parcels)

  • Any courier reference details

We will coordinate with the courier partner and assist with the necessary claims, subject to the courier’s terms.
